A small Part of the confusion is due to semantics, I agree. But a greater part of the confusion is due to the fact that opposite teachings cannot both be true. Some one is wrong here James. Jesus and Adi Da teach completely different views of reality. Your use of the John 1: passage is illustrative. Read on and you will see that the "Word became flesh and dwelt among us". Read further and you will see that Jesus claimed exclusively to be "The way" not one way of many. If that's true then it's profound, if it's not then it's meaningless. Although He did subsequently rise from the dead as a validation that what He said was true. I'm going to have to cut this short as I have an engagement today. Have a good one. Greg
