A coupla thoughts: Management does own a decent share of the company (with options factored in, of course!) So, I think that they might be seeing the potential for profitability, which would make them more money than selling additional shares of a depreciated stock.
I am subscribing to the "silence is golden" theory here, that CCEE is in "Silent Running" mode. Remember, Q4 financials are due by the end of the month, and they allegedly will be in black ink. If things are shifting, then it would be to management's advantage to not do a reverse, nor issue additional shares to dilute their own holdings. If they expect CCEE stock to rise significantly, they may be smart enough to realize that they shouldn't do anything to depress the stock, nor dilute it.
All just my musings, but today's price/volume action is a definite departure from recent weeks... |
