US Active Military Poll Bad News For Bush and GOP * We can see in this Military Times poll that volunteer military personnel are generally from conservative GOP backgrounds, 60% of them saying they are Republicans, almost double the national average. Several years ago, 82% of soldiers supported Bush. Now it is about half that. So fully one third of Republican active military no longer support Bush's policies. Only 22% approve of the Delay-Hastert congress. In other words, we need a new commander in chief and a new military policy, especially in Iraq. This is very bad for morale. rawstory.com
