The rightwingers are the revisionist historians, parroting the lie that Reagan defeated the Soviet Union. In fact, the Soviet people ended the Soviet union and dozens of other people and orgs had just as much to do with it as Reagan did, including ultra-liberal parties and even the Mujeheddin Osama types in Afghanistan (ironically).

The other biggest rightwing lie is that somehow Vietnam was a noble cause and that those who protested that war were un-Amerian. Just the opposite has been proven to be true. And the architects of that war admit it now.
