I don't blame the unions but the educational system is going outside what I believe to be their obligation by teaching personal opinion.

My dad was a superintendent and when he retired he made a statement to the Newspaper that "education had become too politicized and the result would be a more divisive and divided community." "We've lost touch with what local schools and education should represent for its municipalities and the costs for such a system will be clear in 20 years." "We're going lose the support of our respective communities and when that day comes our public school system will start to decay."

That was in 1985
