Hello Mr. Wexler: DTLN and market
I am short DTLN. I believe their business will continue to erode with the notion they are on the wrong side of the wire for the most part. They are not participating in the more efficient means to get information around. Their infrastructure strikes me as an albatross.
Market watching. Interest rate jitters. I will look at AMG's cash flows and trends tonight after 7 p.m. ET at amgdata.com
Looks like the internets were sagging today and some profit taking has been underway in the major caps--the genuine going concerns. Greenspan has an interesting refinement in the wording of his speech--almost comes across as a scientist wishing to experiment but cautious to use the tools at his disposal fully. Steady on the tiller AG. He has some points of merit, but the data is hard to come by in time.
Still a lot of cash out there. I expect it will be coming back into the market next week. Not sure at what. The junk stocks often have lowered volumes in recent days without major price drops. A dearth of nutso buyers. Over time, if volumes remain low, price erosion should occur. Now that would be lovely.
Best regards,
m
