I think killing off socket 7 was most significant.

Either the Athlon Select is in GREAT shape visavis yields, and binsplits etc or AMD is making the biggest BLUNDER of all time.

A lot of AMD demand is low end $$$ wise.

Either they can ramp 3-4M AThlons selects/qtr with a $100 average ASP or they have shot themselves in the foot big time.

What are your thoughts.
