betty, I agree with you, including The idea that this fat ass child killer is walking the streets free absolutely incenses me.

What I found odd was the outpouring of sympathy for the "au pair", which the media seemed to encourage and foster. Then for the judge to effectively reverse the verdict was just backasswards. If the jury verdict was good enough for OJ trial, it ought to be good enough for any trial. It's like the judge held a finger to the wind and said "okay, she's guilty, but 'the people' don't want the woman punished, so she goes free."

Kinda reminds me of "Give us Barabas".
