DARBES, <I suspect that when "willY" comes AMD just may have some TRUMP cards.>

Just like AMD trumped Intel's 1.5 GHz Willamette demo in Palm Springs, just like some people here predicted?

I hold a view totally opposite of yours. I think AMD already revealed too much of its hand back in Q4 when they announced LVT, x86-64, multi-core processors, Thunderbird, Spitfire, Mustang, Sledgehammer (well, that's the same as x86-64), and a RISC-like FPU. Out of all those announcements, I'm most concerned about LVT and Thunderbird. The rest is a non-concern to me considering what I know about Intel's future plans, both announced and unannounced.

There, now you can rest easy knowing that at least one person on this thread disagrees with you. ;-)
