I heard a rumor that Seagate Investor Relations had admitted that they were negotiating with Ampex stating that "KM would be a good addition to our thin film line". I called them and someone named Debby stated that they have looked at keepered media but did not know if they were negotiating and could not comment if she did know. Sounded like "we might be but I won't tell".
