Texas Instruments misses by $0.01, beats on revs; guides Q4 EPS below consensus, revs in-line

Reports Q3 (Sep) earnings of $1.48 per share, $0.01 worse than the FactSet Consensus of $1.49; revenues rose 14.2% year/year to $4.74 bln vs the $4.65 bln FactSet Consensus.Earnings per share included a 10-cent reduction that was not in the company's original guidance.Revenue increased 7% sequentially and 14% from the same quarter a year ago with growth across all end markets.Our cash flow from operations of $6.9 billion for the trailing 12 months again underscored the strength of our business model, the quality of our product portfolio and the benefit of 300mm production. Free cash flow for the same period was $2.4 billion.Co issues guidance for Q4, sees EPS of $1.13-1.39 vs. $1.41 FactSet Consensus; sees Q4 revs of $4.22-4.58 bln vs. $4.51 bln FactSet Consensus.
