I never met an accordian that I didn't like. But seriously, I think that both of can be serious - we should realize that AGPH just isn't another stock - it's in the limelight because of the current focus of their business, and we should all realize that emotions are bound to run high regarding AGPH as an investment, and regarding the science behind the current product they have on the market. No doubt that some viewers (& participants) on this thread could be users or potential users of Viracept - that is bound to stir up a lot of emotion, but difficult as it sometimes may be, neither of us should fear any inquiry into AGPH due to the seriousness of the diseases which it is focused on. We are not debating whether Nike makes a better basketball shoe than Reebok. This NHB attitude (no-holds-barred) would be true of other drug companies, also. I hope we agree on that and use that as a starting point for intelligent discussion. The most knowledge can be learned if nothing is off limits. BTW, I kind of get the feeling that you may be an ex-Agouron employee and have left to get involved in government. Are my vibes incorrect? Since you're now involved with Congress and obviously interested in health care, you can probably answer the question, "Did Ted Kennedy accept money to try and push the FDA process along for Summit Technology?" I saw a TV documentary that basically accused him of taking a bribe. Actually, all I can say - well, I don't know how old or young you are, but if you're idealistic now, it'll be interesting to see how working with the federal government affects you. |
