((You are very welcome. It took me months of culling through the detritus in dem dim institu-shuns to espy a couple instances where the CIA's editors took the night off. ))

LOL!

((For a second there I thought you had a joke for me....
"Owning Mahoney" morphs into "Owing Mahonia".
))

Yeah, I noticed the similarity also. Interestingly, the real-life Dan Mahoney's name is Brian Molony ... which is hilarious in itself because of the similarity to the name of Canada's extremely unpopular ex Prime Minister Brian Mulroney.

((The swashbucklin' cavalier crazy cowboy in the closet culture that we've bred here on the prairie is sure a dysfunctional, dystopian version of the vision thang.))

I hear your concern here, but the movie's intent is not to glorify Dan Mahoney or white collar crime. Had Mahoney's character been played by Tom Cruise or Johnny Depp, I see how it could go all wrong. But Hoffman's character is much more Willy Loman who finds a degree of redemption from his sad existence than "Jackie Chan goes preppie".

Anyway, not a movie review forum here so I'll stop here.

On another track, how about those VIX and VXN indicators ... hitting new lows:

finance.yahoo.com^VIX

finance.yahoo.com^VXN

Could investor complacency be any greater than at present? Unbelievable.

Best wishes,
Glenn
