Hi Mark,

Well, no luck so far. I downloaded the latest version of media player (6.4) that Cheeky recommended, and made the settings suggested by the cow.

When I get into real player and look at settings it says real player is my default player.

If I get into Explore and double click on a wav file, it plays perfectly on media player.

When I call up ANY profile on SI that plays music, I get NO SOUND. I think most of those files are MIDI files.

Anyway, I know both real player and media player work, just not for sounds in SI or for any wavs that people give a link for in a SI post.

Maybe the default in set in Netscape or in the System ini files.

I'm an old mainframe programmer and don't know diddly about PC's.
