Yup. And if you doing futures or BTC, then how do you sleep while it is trading overnight (yes, I have an answer and I have held positions for for more than a week, but you understand my point)?

The only realistic answers are: (a) you don't lever too much so you can sleep at night, or (b) you write an algo to babysit the position for you overnight.

Either way, you are not making the maximum out of the derivatives. I don't see why a portfolio of 100 volatile but diversified stocks is any riskier or even less profitable.
