Is Stockwatch going to be excluded from all news releases by VSE companies ? IN today's Financial Post there was an article on page 5 entitled "News services fight over VSE releases" Part of the article says: "Canadian Corporate News Inc. has complained to securities regulators about a controversial alliance between a competing news service and The VSE. CCN says the alliance will give competition Canada News Wire Ltd. a monopoly over news emanating from VSE companies. Starting Sept 1st companies listed on the VSE must file releases electronically to the exchanges internet web site. The VSE will then transmit them to CNW for distribution across Canada." The story said that "other" news services were also upset. I am wondering if CSW is one of those complaining. If they are, I say ain't that too bad. Maybe this means that The VSE is finally going to take responsibility and put an end to faulty or misleading news releases in an effort to improve their image ? Perhaps they will also put an end to irresponsible reporters who have personal vendettas against innocent companies. I only wish that for every time SW ran one of their stories designed to discredit Crystallex, that everyone of those who are long on the company and frequent other threads would try to put the same negative slant against CSW in their comments about this service ( or should I say dis-service ) in an effort to show them that these kind of campaigns can backfire on them. If the above is true, then I wonder if you all remember my comments a few weeks ago when I said I would take bets that Crystallex will outlive CSW ?
