The Chinese are taking steps to liberalize their gold importing, I haven't taken the time to study the details yet but it is definitely interesting.

The could add their reserves on the cheap, by letting their JQPublic buy gold *citizens money is always cheaper* and then ask them to turn it in if they ever needed it, like Korea did.

1.how many billion ounces?, yes one ounce per citizen would be a good start!
