I care also, but I am not panicked. I think it bottoms out around $60 based on estimates of $1.95 and $2.50. The shortfall seems to have centered in Europe and may reflect the integration of the two acquisitions as well as softening demand in Europe. Keep in mind that comparable companies, such as CA and ORCL, have seen the same European phenomenon, which is not surprising when you consider how much of a drain on resources is resulting from Y2K and the Euro. Moreover, the deals that didn't close haven't gone away; in fact, a couple closed on the first of this month.
