Hi Angler:

I did just about the same thing in Vanguards # 29. It topped out around 8.30 and is now 7.70 so it dropped around 7 %. The yield is now 9.02%.

IMO there are a ton of downward earning revisions to come out for 1999. The analysts have not even attempted to keep up with their work loads. These revisions will start appearing with preannouncements for 3rd qtr's. Coca Cola 's today is a good start.

Once the revisions have filtered into the stock and bond prices I'm going back in, hopefully this fall. Good luck too ! gregor
