Conservative and robust are code words for furthest behind the current and last to be innovative. Having used Linux and most Unixes for many years, I see little value in the allegation that debian is one part in a trillion more robust than other distributions of Linux. Especially when the security or robustness of an os is dependent in about one part in one on the skills and flip of a coin on who is using the OS and what if any comprehension they have of technology.

No doubt that the trolltech announcement will have a major impact on the market especially considering that my guess is that trolltech has one millionth the value of hp and sun who have announced support from gnome.

I don't know what the value of the 1980 corl office suite will have when ported natively to Linux.

To me, every choice made by corl in the what and how of corl's Linux endeavor have been dumb and dumber. I see no product difference and no revenue model
