But when talking to our targets in Europe, especially IT people, they are referring to a whole series of issues with Intel meeting deadlines, from Merced (still there top of mind for many of them, believe it or not), to Coppermine, to 820/MoBo availability, to availability of products in general (be it for production "problems" or production capacity).
Gelsinger declared in public during an EMEA PR event to IT specialists that this was not acceptable and had to be fixed.
Sorry I can't be much more precise, I do not have access to my files anymore ;-) What I hear is that the factory folks are working hard on this. Not that problems are behind Intel. Maybe you are more up-to-date?>

That's a pretty wide range. I believe Coppermine to be more fab constrained than anything (production capacity).

I don't know about anything about issues with Mobo's, and am not familiar with most of the detail in the Merced program.
