i have actually never been to that site until our little conversation... suddenly occurred to me to check they.com and there it was. did you read the "About They" and Privacy Policy? Too funny. About us they thought you should know that: "They are an elite, select group of individuals who have been chosen to run the universe. They know what you think of that. They have already taken your attitude into consideration. In general, they do not need to hear from you -- by either email or phone. They already know. They were going to tell you, but they don't have the time. There are occasions where you will know things before they do. They ask that you submit your information in the standard fashion. They thank you for your consideration." privacy policy they.com has a privacy policy. They don't care about you, or your data. You come here, and they just don't care who you are. they use cookies to track individual users and preferences. they need an email to verify slash-style accounts with. Once you reply back to validate the account (or visit the site to validate the account) you should never hear another word from slash@they.com. they don't have advertising. they don't want it. they don't like it. they wouldn't subject any but a few of their worst enemies (which include all spammers) to it. they won't sell, give away, lease, or announce your address. to anyone. ever. or any of your other data, for that matter. they put this site up just so they could have a page they like. if you like it too... well, they just think that is a happy accident. and another thing. they don't care what stocks you own, either.
