I worked at a mall for a year or two, and there were some stores there that never seemed to have any customers, yet, they kept operating. Mall rent is very steep. Just before I left the place, two of those stores were raided by the IRS. They were just money laundering fronts for someone! Another store was a hobby botique for some rich guy's wife.
