Funny, I have given thought to an Intel deal also...The COMS and INTC thing has come up a bunch, but I don't think they would want to pay so much for COMS and I don't know how broad INTC wants to get into networking....ATM is hot again, INTC has a working relationship with FORE, FORE has great technology in specific area, INTC stock price up (finally) and available for trade as "cash" in a deal. I also think INTC would be more interested in technology than client base and hence may favor a FORE over some of the other competitors... LU has been hot as well and could do a lot of buying with stock...I don't think we are far from a network buy-a-thon where everybody (well, everybody that counts :) gets eaten up, and foreign telecoms get into the deals big...LU will kick it off...
