The NRA are insane, unethical liars to presume that if teachers were given concealed weapons permits (that is assuming any of them would actually want one) they would be able to shoot crazy students before the students carry out a massacre. The colleges have campus cops and that's their job. Trying to turn everyone into a vigilante is madness and would result in chaos, no law and order and all kinds of exploitation and buses, for instance the Florida law the NRA pushed through which now makes shooting anyone you like legal so long as you claim you felt "threatened". No other proof needed. Just shoot first ask questions later. Madness. Un-civilized. And a carte blanche to shoot and murder with impunity. If I knew my kiud's teacher was carrying a gun I would demand the kid be moved from that class. Some teachers are nutty too, you know. What makes you think they can be trusted? The NRA is always harping about "law-abiding citizens", but they don't even want us to check for psychiatric records. They want it all voluntary and no waiting periods whatsoever. That's how Cho got his guns. The NRA arranged it for him.
