Helps a lot! Thanks Razor. Makes perfect sense. At the same time, if future expectations were perfect, there would be no money to be made by investors in the NYMEX or other commodities futures exchanges. It will be interesting to see what happens but I can fully understand the backwardation position of the market at present!
