regarding release of earnings date: It was brought to my attention that SCNG has traditionally been releasing earnings on the last possible day for some time - as in years. There doesn't seem to be any devious design associated with this phenomenon. Nor it seems has the company ever tried to use PR to stem the downward spiral of stock price due to market technical factors. Can't confirm all this - but have it on faith from a long time observer.
