I'm currently accessing the Internet through @Home which offers unlimited Internet access at 10Mbit/s upstream and downstream for $34.95/mo. There are no restrictions as to where you can surf and the computer is connected as soon as you turn it on. In practice, I've been able to download >10Mbyte files at speeds of around 3Mbits/s. Quite frankly, accessing the Internet through this cable system is awesome. -Leonard >> BTW, have you read about @HOME, which is a cable trial offered down your way? It's not unlimited access to the web. There are specific sites that are available, but from what I understand you can't just surf on over to Silicon Investor or Insider Trading, or Stock Smart, or whatever. If you like being spoon fed, you would like @HOME. The people running @HOME are clueless, IMO. <<
