I am so ready to kiss Microsoft goodbye forever and just use Linux. Today at about 3 PM I turned on win 10 machine and got message “preparing windows”. When windows started all my tiles were gone except for some msft cr^p that wasn't on my computer before. I can get them back by pinning to start but should I have to do this. All preference settings were set to msft defaults. Also, Edge was set as default browser not Chrome and I had to sign in to Chrome and Firefox and try to retrieve all my bookmarks etc. PAIN in the***. Bit by bit I am returning it to the way I want it. Anyone else have this issue today? Jim K
