Earlier it was Nvidia Geforce and now it was Pixel(??)graphics who were gonna design and have AMD manufacture. I can see X-box as quite an awesome machine if done right.

According to the Register, the graphics is MegaPixel. I think that X-box and Athlon are very serious threat to both the game box industry, and embedded CPUs generally.

Why buy a 250 MHz MIPS processor, when you can get a 600 MHz Athlon for about the same price? The embedded market is getting huge, and for applications which can stand a little power consumption Athlon and Timna will be excellent choices in the future.
