Re-read my last post. As I said, "...any part of any religion..."

Regarding your introduction of "ethic," the Constitution is a system of values. In spite of the majority of them having Judeo-Christian backgrounds, the founding fathers were wise enough to know that no one religious value system should hold sway over another, much less the Constitution. Credit must be given for their wisdom in writing a religious-neutral document. No one from any background could have done a better job of it.
