Are there books on TA? There seems to be a book industry on the subject. Hop over to amazon.com and do a search for "technical analysis" AND market. That will turn up 30 books. A wider search without "market" gives over 90 titles. If you don't want to do a search, here's a quick summary from a GNET site: iqc.com You'll find a few interesting discussions here on SI, but most of them seem to disintegrate quickly into shouting matches. If you'd like to see some definitions of the various terms, and chart patterns, there are several web sites, but GNET owns one of the better ones at iqc.com.
