Another thing is that Apple owns the OS, so that doesn't cost them as much, either.

You think developing the MacOS is cheap huh? You have actually added a primary reason that Apple CANT reduce margins to that of PC makers. There are others. But some of you kids are in dreamland and there is no use in talking sense to you.
