Thanks for posting that, cosmicforce. I had meant to post a similar article about the wild horses, but somehow misplaced it electronically. Bush signed the bill into law that endangers wild horses. I find that totally disgusting, but not surprising. I have no idea what kind of decent person would eat a horse! When I was about five my parents had a dinner party, and we were having steak, and they asked everyone how their meat was, and of course everyone said it was just delicious, and then they announced it was horsemeat! Yuck! Everyone stopped eating. Apparently it was very inexpensive--my father had just graduated from college and started teaching, and I know money was tight, but that was really gross.
