and thank god for that small reprieve. don't you understand that EVERYTHING the government does with intent to help the economy only makes it worse?

minimum wage was enacted on behalf of the UNIONS! and minimum wage only KILLS jobs. it keeps many from getting a starting position and getting the skills necessary to get higher pay. the unions wanted it to protect their own jobs. they didn't want willing workers coming in and doing their jobs. they feared less pay. but they wouldn't have gotten less pay. instead minimum wage has weakened the value of labor and insured that they will get less pay in real terms.

the ONLY thing governments can do for economies, is stay the hell out of them. every other thing they try to do always backfires and make things worse.

socialism needs to be snuffed out permanently.
