And no doubt my focus is on UTRAN and especially HSDPA technologies that may more so apply to R5... But you may want to peruse the February 27draft minutes for the RAN WG2 meeting in Edinburgh: ftp://ftp.3gpp.org/TSG_RAN/WG2_RL2/TSGR2_19/Report/draft-minutes-R2-19-Feb-27.zip The quantity of CR's being addressed is staggering... However, Annex C on page 85 illustrates that the vast majority of CR's currently being addressed still concern R99, with only about 20 out of over 160 pertaining to R4. There are none listed for the R5 phase. If R4 is so well along, I would expect this to be illustrated in work currently being addressed by WG's. I would not expect them to be dwelling on R99 issues... ben
