<<It surely must warm the cockles of the shorts' hearts to know that not 24 hours after the company's big annual conference call, it is already practically forgotten>>

A slight exaggeration I think. But let's say this is so. It would be because longs know that the company's prospects are looking mighty good (hence the need for its detractors to loudly proclaim otherwise).

By contrast, "shorts" cannot forget the call. It drove home that they have no way out of the hole they have dug for themselves. Hence the insane number of basher posts in the past 24 hours.

Also, the last big attack on the stock price had to be one of their stupidest moves ever. At the very least 100,000 shares, if not closer to 300k-500K were bought by longs who cannot be bamboozled by the likes of Billy Kevinbob. Longs were expected to capitulate, but bought instead. What Billy Kevinbob's bosses assumed to be a winning strategy here because it may have worked for them in other stocks, backfired big time.

Won't surprise me one bit if this stock goes down in history as a case study in just how dumb supposedly smart money managers can be.

And that's without getting into some of the dumbest moves of all.
