The class envy thing (your words) and gaming the system (my words) is what will change the laws.....

Its BS for the simple minded....the US used to be a meritocracy.....we should preserve it as such. Being envious of those more successful than you is for morons.

Did you ever over charge a client just because it was legal but you did nothing to earn it?

Nope...fees are required to be reasonable and there is a mechanism to dispute any fee a client feels is unjust. Moreover, if the fee is found to be unreasonable...the PCC can take your license. 95% of my work is transactional and commercial with a mutually agreed fee upfront.

For example, does the state of NH require a home purchaser to buy title insurance and then he finds he can only buy such insurance from his lawyer....ie a middle man?

NH does not require the purchase of title insurance. Most residential closings in NH are handled by title companies, not lawyers....furthermore, the rates for title insurance are set by the NH Dept. of Insurance for the major title companies that operate in this state, so where you get it is not of any relevance because the rate is the same no matter if you buy direct or through your closing company.

As usual, you have no clue of what you speak....
