looks like about a foot out here west of philly. still getting some snow from wrap around winds from low off coast. Our development is usually low priority to get plowed.. Maybe later this afternoon... Snow is very light, cleans up quickly, and great news, no power loss. I can now empty the pots, pans and tub of water. ha

I wished watching the weather all day yesterday my brother in law from ireland was here to share this with him... Last time he was here we had a hurricane.. cars floating down the street and people driving into flooded streets to float away. He got all excited watching it, never saw rain like this before.

I told him as soon as he gets off the plane in Galway he will tell everyone how dumb yanks are they drive into floods and watch their cars float away. The following year his daughter and son in law came for a visit.. I mentioned to his son in law ." I bet the first thing your father in law said when you saw him was about dumb yanks driving into floods and cars floating away.. He almost chocked... so yesterday watching all the cars sliding down the streets into other cars, trying to drive up city line ave. outside local tv station. every snow storm we get to watch these drivers try to get up this little incline , not even a hill , on city line ave , only for some to just spin out.

I figured if he were here he would think how dumb Yanks are to go on on icy streets and crash into other cars or slide off the highways. I doubt he has seen anything like it in Galway.

see ya.
