Heh, I dunno.

Either way, it's a hell of a thing to happen this early in their movement towards publicly accessible capital markets. A crisis of trust, this early, could sideline potential foreign investors for years - including the major global entities here in the U.S. and Europe - setting the Chinese back economically and perhaps jeopardizing their measured but courageous steps towards capitalism.

Their regulators will have to seriously roll some heads to set an example both to other equity issuers and those sidelined institutional investors alike. (Figuratively, I hope!)
