Ron, I also am sorry you got caught up in this SEC mess. The numbers the SEC states are very small potatoes compared to the value of the technology. Any small company has a difficult time dealing with the forces against it which include government regulators. Sometimes regulators will cooperate and sometimes they won't.

Green Oasis claims to have developed a mobile refinery that can convert
waste oil into a low-grade diesel fuel. The SEC's Internet fraud unit started
investigating the company in March 1997.

It has taken 15 months to get this far and they still claim not to know anything about the value of the technology. I don't think the company claims to have developed a "mobile" refinery. That has never been my understanding, look at the pictures of it. And "low grade" needs to be defined. At least we see a step in the progress in this "investigation" which has taken 15 months to accomplish what should have taken 15 days. At the pace of the legal system that progresses at the rate fingernails grow, how long will it take to resolve this in the courts?

The news article uses the term "purported tax breaks". The plant produces a synthetic fuel, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. It therefore should qualify for the Section 29 tax break as well as qualify as a synthetic fuel tax break for users of its product. The statements by the SEC also seem "misleading" which serve its own purposes.
