Iriquois is the name of the federation of five tribes, Oneida,Onandaga,Cayuga,Mohawk and Seneca. These tribes were eventually joined by the Erie and the Tuscarora. I know some of the Iriquoian tribes were forced to move west.I knew several Oneidas in Minn. and, from what I saw on 60 Minutes this evening there are still quite a few left in New York. Many of the Seneca and Mohawks work the high steel in NYC. I guess some of the people of the tribes settled in Quebec but, I was under the impression this was Huron country. Regards, truedog
