John, . It seems like the market might read good news for Intel as good news for AMD, but good news for AMD as bad news for Intel.
I know what you mean. When INTC is relatively weak, almost everything is read as bad news for them. However, right now, I'm thinking that, with the super quarter behind them, and all the upgrades, esp. Niles', and the $122 to $150 targets, and estimates of $2.90 for 2000, there is no holding the stock back for a while. The occasional profit taking day will happen, of course. Also If tech = wreck, all bets are off.
Disclaimers, of course, abound.
