To Gavin,

How unfortunate that Princess Di's words against the press so recently published would come to haunt her in this new tragedy. Once again, listening to different tabloid publishers talking on CNN about how $200,000 was paid for a series of photographs of Di and Dodi on vacation, it is clear that we have lost all sanity. While the Princess may be of interest to people, how much further do we allow these bloodthirsty, greedy tabloid moguls and
their minions to go? Of course, as far as I'm concerned, Buckingham Palace is as much to blame as anyone. Because of the desire for an heir to the throne, Prince Philip forced his son to find a wife. Charles chose Diana because Camilla was taken. It was a mismatch from the start and the family knew it. Shame on the royal family whose withered fingers grasp at a time no longer within the realm of reality. Prince Philip, Prince Charles,
hopefully neither of you will sleep too comfortably anymore.

While it's vital to protect the Freedom of the Press, it's time to curtail this reckless pursuit of celebrities and victims of crimes. Newspapers can still write whatever they want, TV news can still broadcast pictures along with their reports, but EVERYBODY needs to be protected from this kind of dangerous intrusion in our lives. This kind of press behavior should be banned.

HARLEY.
