Engineer: So if they just took to putting HDR repeaters on telephone poles and handed out HDR modem cards,they can take that installation down to $150 for the HDR modem and somewhere around $50-100 for overhead on that installation. Wouldn't I eventually be able to buy a Qualcomm PCI HDR Modem at Best Buy for say, about $100 ... in the next 3 to 4 years? Then, I just plop it into my PC (hopefully the bus speeds on MB's will be faster then) and away I go ... wireless ... no more POTS !! I want my HDR !!! regards, metman
