Yes, the fun will be out of driving, but insurance rates could come down as well as loss of life. We can also be productive while we are driving, as someday it could all be automated.

250 oil is a terrifying prospect. Of course if the next president spends like the last, and the clownbuck swandives, then it could be a very real reality.

The other driver could be conclusive evidence that global warming is real and accelerating. I think the trapped methane in Siberia might do the trick.
