GSM extreme cold has moved deeper into Russia & Asia. Per prior posts, leaving most of the lower 48 warmer (but for a few colder than average days in November & a few average winter cold days earlier this month) than I can recall for many years.

Because coldest temps gather around magnetic poles? The extreme map numbers below should be expected & R likely to continue getting more extreme in future winters as north Canadian node of the current Northern di-pole rapidly weakens and it's stronger Siberian & Asia bound counterpart strengthens.

Would not want to live in China or the rest of Asia in coming decades. That's where famines & hi death rates from extreme cold and very heavy snow will be concentrated. Maybe as many as 1-2 billion will die in those nations by 2050. Hope my mortality est. is completely wrong. Wouldn't wish that level of suffering on any population!
