Yes, of course Wall St. burned the building down, but the Fed game them the fuel. In my jaded view I've come to see Wall St. and the Fed as just two sides of the same coin. A bad penny at that.

I sometimes wonder if they create these <debates> to foster an impression that there is actual debate <g> Still, what interests me is that there is criticism in the central banker club, which I think will ultimately lead to some serious dissension. The ECB is just as trapped now as the Fed, and maybe the strong Euro is good choice if the American consumer is tapped out anyway.

The bill is coming due.
