Jay Donohoo, So basically, no one trusts Datek right now.>

Overall, I would have to agree with the response given by gbh, that Datek has many, many satisfied clients.

However, I would have to speculate that there are more than a relative few who have a serious problem with Datek. No doubt problem people are over represented on this thread. This thread is primarily for problem solving, therefore you see a lot of problems. If someone isn't articulating a problem (or question) or a solution (or answer), then why post?

Nonetheless, consider the math that suggests the people posting problems or concerns here represent a very very small percentage of the people that actually have those problems or concerns and therefore necessarily imply that there are a lot of us out there.

Take the reciprocal of the product of the proportion of people falling into the following categories: of Datek customers that have a problem what percent are even aware that the problem exists; of Datek customers that have a problem and are aware of it what percent bother to complain or actively seek a solution other than merely leaving Datek; of those Datek customers that complain to Datek or seek a solution or answer , what percent pursue their issue further given that they are not satisfied with Datek's response by seeking a solution elsewhere; of these people what percent are also SI members; etc. ect.
