I was going to mention the standing headline:

Fed says adds reserves via overnight system RPs

and the fact that they've added 16 of the last 17 days. Then I thought maybe this is just normal operations. I could use a primer, too. I did read somewhere that they were injecting an extra 54B worth of reserves to provide extra liquidity until we're safely into Y2K. If not the Fed, then where is this liquidity coming from?
